Small high powered magnets (banned)

In Australia, separate or loose small high-powered magnets with a flux index over 50 (kG)² mm² - often found in toys or jewellery - are permanently banned due to severe risks.

If swallowed, these magnets can stick together inside the body, causing life-threatening injuries or choking hazards for children. Products posing serious injury or death risks may be banned, and once banned, cannot be supplied. Suppliers who ignore these bans face significant penalties.
